Sōhachi Yamaoka
from Niigata was a Japanese author. He wrote a number of historical novels. Politician Kenji Yamaoka is an adopted son. In 1968, he won the Yoshikawa Eiji Prize for his historical novel ''Tokugawa Ieyasu''. Provided by Wikipedia-
