The book summarizes the entire history of the first contacts with westerners in these lands. It includes an account of the massacre of the Portuguese and Spaniards by the Muslim Turks in Sudan and accounts of Spanish missionaries murdered in the Americas, notably the West Indies, Venezuela, Panama and Martinique
