|a For several years the ASTM G-4 committee has been actively publishing ocuments pertaining to the suitability of using various engineering alloys in oxygen-enriched atmospheres. These publications have resulted in a better understanding of the behavior of materials and have helped industry-wide consciousness of the safety and ntegrity requirements of equipment utilized in the generation, transportation and use of oxygen.
